<p>The icy steps looked neat with the winter sun shining on them and the groups of ice crystals. And I knew it would look sharp and cold when turned to black and white. Which while losing the warming feel of  the winter sun still accented well.</p>

I didn&#8217;t want Carina to drive too much as the Friday night had been an epic drive with the traffic on 101 all the way up past Napa then the crazy drive through the densely wooded areas as we head west to Fort Bragg in the dark and finally twisting up highway 1 in the dark. But still we took a leisurely drive North to see some of the sights of the Mendocino coast in daylight.</p>
