Across the street from the DICE office are this set of steep steps with snow on them heading straight up. I really liked how they looked with the highlight of snow. And I managed to catch this shot between traffic so I felt doubly lucky.

Where the frigid cold air of the Baltic comes ashore at one of the jettys near Slussen there are some icy steps leading back up to the road.

The icy steps looked neat with the winter sun shining on them and the groups of ice crystals. And I knew it would look sharp and cold when turned to black and white. Which while losing the warming feel of  the winter sun still accented well.

I like the bright yellow, I like the winter sun, I like the ice crystals. Wish it was maybe a little bit sharper but still decent effort.

The chimney really doesn’t stand-out in the summer but in the winter with the very obvious steam it makes an excellent accent to the view of the Old Town accented by the Winter sun.

I went to Stockholm, in the middle of Winter. It had snowed just before we arrived. This picture was a couple of days after looking across the railway line towards Old Town.

If you follow me on Facebook you might remember that Carina liked one of my pictures the other week and mentioned me almost falling off the side of a cliff to take it. Well this here is the actual picture she was talking about. I scrambled down a trail on the side of the cliff that was a little maybe a little bit steeper than i was comfortable with. Got a vcouple of neat pictures and this one was best of the lot.

At the same point of the beach there was a bend in the road with a full covering of trees. It looked neat, especially with the bike emerging from it.

We walked out to a place called “Glass Beach”. There was a small section of the beach were people were scouring the ground in search of naturally occurring pieces of polished glass. But that was really dull. So here was the view north from there instead.

We went for a short drive north out of Fort Bragg on the Saturday. I didn’t want Carina to drive too much as the Friday night had been an epic drive with the traffic on 101 all the way up past Napa then the crazy drive through the densely wooded areas as we head west to Fort Bragg in the dark and finally twisting up highway 1 in the dark. But still we took a leisurely drive North to see some of the sights of the Mendocino coast in daylight.
