Would be great to see you for GDC. I know you will be mad busy but if you have some time on your schedule just drop me an email and I will try to drag Carina up to the city. Fair warning she isn’t crazy about parking up there but I will try my damndest.

I thought we say eye to eye. I may have been a pain to deal with but I thought you taught me a lot in that time. And although I may have been strident about my position I tried to listen. I think I am a lot better about that now. I have had a really good manager who has taught me some very useful “coping skills”.

Oh Dublin! Can’t wait to see your pictures from there! Carina and I both miss AZ and are seriously considering buying a home there as we just can’t make the finances work here in NorCal.

I can see that (the gloves). After shooting the X-Pro 1 for about 1000 frames, I have no complaints about the image quality, none at all. I’m sure it’s not as good as the 800E, mind you, but it’s a better camera for me, I think.

I hate the weight, Canon, Nikon, whatever.

You know, I am aware that we didn’t see eye to eye on SGW, but I really do miss working with you. Just thought I’d say that, and I am really happy for your success at EA.

I don’t know if you looked at my blog, but I was in Dublin last weekend. This weekend, I write this from Phoenix airport, very near where we had lunch the day when we flew to Austin to evaluate Stray Bullet.

It was -15C so 5F.
Yes the ones so far are D800E. I also have some X Pro-1 from the first couple of days. I plan to go back through them but I was just not as happy as I was with the images from the D800E. Also another thing I discovered, I can use the D800E with gloves on but really struggled to do the same with the X Pro-1.

was just there 1 week this time. Back in the Bay Area and will be here during GDC although I did not currently have any plans to attend, outside of meeting up with friends.

The X-Pro-1 is APS-C so its 42mm equivalent.
