China Glaze Tranzitions Split Perso-nail-ity

China Glaze Tranzitions Collection for Spring 2013 is quite interesting…I offer you Split Perso-nail-ity…

I liked this color because it’s a pinky-lavender creme and when I put it on, I liked it as is…however, I had to give a shot with the top coat and man, what a hot mess that was.

I did two coats and waited for it to completely dry. I even used China Glaze’s Fast Forward top coat…and this is the hot mess you see below. At first I thought it was me or it was the bottle I bought – it may have been faulty/flawed. No. I know for a fact it wasn’t me. I even used another fast drying top coat (Poshe) AND then I tried it with a plain old regular drying top coat. No. It’s the polish. Maybe I got a bad batch, but the other five colors did no better than the one shown here. I googled images for Tranzitions and I’m quite jealous of the people who got it to look fabulous. You know, gone with the wind fabulous. Sorry, I was watching Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live…If you got that gone with the wind fabulous reference, thank you.

What did I like about this polish? The color. The application was flawless and dried quickly. I like polishes like that. It was opaque in two regular coats.

What did I NOT like about this polish? That the ‘Tranzitions’ part didn’t work – it streaked and got all messed up – you will see it below

See the hot mess? Top coat application on the ring finger and pinky. Pointer I just dotted. Middle I did a quick stripe, but overall this polish was a hot mess for me.

I think Temptalia’s review of these matches yours. I saw them at US Nails when I was there yesterday, and had to keep myself from buying them. I’m pretty glad I did!
