Makeup Store – Nicklas
As part of my Swedish nail polish haul this color, Nicklas, fell into my grubby little brown paws…
This is a pretty and light color for summer…One would never know summer was around the corner because of all the rain that’s due to fall here this week. Grrr. I can’t complain. Yes, I can. Much as I love cold weather, this is a bit of a let down.
Nicklas is a sheer formula that took two coats to get this not-too-sheer look. It was fast drying and I like to think that this would be opaque in three coats. I wasn’t too happy with the color because shades like this normally don’t flatter my skin tone. It looks ok, but not something that I would tell everyone to get. Makeup store was the pricier end of the polish spectrum haul – it was about $20USD. YIKES! Still not Chanel territory, but darn close.
I’m a little worried about moving to Sweden, but this is how I normally am before international moves. I always wonder if I’ll make new friends, have a great time, like the place I’ll be living in, etc. All the normal things that I should be worried about. I won’t have a car because we’re only going to be there for six months…plus, it’s EXPENSIVE to even buy a car there, but it’s much cheaper to buy a car and register it in Sweden than it is to buy a car in Denmark. How do people survive in places that are so expensive?! Well, I’m about to find out.
Maybe I’ll incorporate this blog to also reflect my travels? I like having a centralized location for all the things I need to do. Now I just have to figure out how to make a separate posting page for my travels so it won’t bleed into the main part of this – nail polish.
i LOVE this shade!!! I’ll have to ask my SIL for it when she comes home in December. It is so expensive there!
